Challenge Shanghai Triathlon

• The first Challenge Family race in China, on Shanghai’s southern coast: sprint, standard and middle distance (1.9 / 90 / 21.1 km).
• A two-lap swim in Bainiao Lake inside Haiwan National Forest Park, then four bike laps along the Hangzhou Bay coast.
• Very flat: about 56 m of climbing on the middle-distance bike and 8 m on the run. Average 23°C air and 22°C water.
• A qualifier for The Championship in Slovakia. Lapped bike and run courses let spectators see athletes several times.

Haiwan is about 60 km from downtown and both airports. Take a taxi or ride-hailing, and stay in Haiwan Town the night before.

On a rest day, walk the forest park’s Plum Garden, Bamboo Garden and Bird Island, all on the run course.
