Silk Road Mountains & Waters Super Trail

• Starts at the old opera stage in Pingle Ancient Town, a riverside town on the former Southern Silk Road.
• Follows traces of the Tea Horse Road past old bridges, a wharf, Ming–Qing buildings and stilt houses.
• 42 km with 1,798 m of climbing (11 h cutoff), or 20 km with 616 m (6 h).
• Dirt trails through a large native bamboo forest with no high-risk sections, good for a first trail marathon.

Registration runs through the organizer’s WeChat account until 31 October. We can register for you if you don’t use WeChat.

Spend the evening at the teahouses along Pingle’s Baimo River.
